National Distributor located in Nassau County, New York is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our IT Team.
Our team is responsible for supporting approximately 75 users locally and remotely. We are responsible for web development, network administration, wireless AP administration, database administration and application development.
The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of Windows (XP and Vista), Microsoft Office, networking and hardware.
Responsibilities include: user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, additional responsibilities will be added based on performance
Skills in any of the following a plus: HTML, SQL, Crystal Reports, Apple OS X and Visual Basic.
Work is performed under general supervision and the candidate is expected to exercise independent judgment. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and either, an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field or one year of experience installing and maintaining a LAN; or two years experience maintaining a LAN are required.
